@the.table

If you are in your 20’s or 30’s and desire to be mentored by an older lady in our church then you are a perfect candidate for our Titus 2 ministry called “@ the table.” @ the Table is in its second year of ministry. We currently have 6 small groups that meet late August through April. This is a Titus 2 mentoring ministry that is designed for your generation through practical cooking tips, decor, homemaking and spiritual insights. You will be assigned to a small group of ladies (4-6 people only) and paired with a mentor and a co-mentor. You will meet with your mentor in their home twice a month to make a meal and gather around the table for fellowship. We are using the books by Dianne Lynn Dougharty. There are four books in this series. We will be launching book one this fall.

(Due to COVID, we will not be launching any new groups this fall.

Micah 6:8 proclaims,

He has told you, O man, what is good;
and what does the Lord require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness,
and to walk humbly with your God?

Do you have a heart for missions? Our Missions & Outreach ministry provides opportunities to serve Jesus by meeting the needs of others. By putting Jesus first, others second, and then ourselves, we learn to experience true, biblical joy in the Lord! Join us as we pray for, seek out, and minister to our neighbors and the nations.

Our Stitchers/Quilters meet every Monday from 10a-1p in the Encounter Building.

Our first Missions Meeting will be September 24, 10-11:30a.
Registration coming soon!

Spotswood MOMs exists to connect and encourage women with young children to grow in their roles as mothers through biblical principles. Our group meets the first and third Thursday of the month, September through May. Our meetings provide fellowship and learning opportunities that equip moms with practical skills for many mothering challenges. MOMs also offers many activities outside of regular meetings for moms, kids and families to enjoy. Our group began over 10 years ago as a MOPs group meeting at Spotswood Baptist Church and still holds a similar structure and opportunities to local mothers as we have in the past.

MOMs now happens on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month, from 9:30-11:30a, beginning September 16.

For more information please contact us at women@spotswood.org

Our prayer group meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 11:45a, immediately following Bible study.

Serve with Spotswood Women

Looking for ways to serve? We always have great ways for you to leverage your time and talent in meaningful ways.

• At our events, we always need greeters and table leaders.

• For MoMs and our Bible Studies, we always need a few to help provide childcare. You serve for a couple hours a week, and the young moms of our church have their spirits lifted like you wouldn’t imagine.

• We’d love for you to join our welcome team!
