Spotswood Biblical Counseling Center

Our Purpose.

To renew the body of believer’s faith in the Bible as the answer to all their emotional and psychological needs. To educate Christians on how to respond biblically to challenges in life and how to implement biblical principles, to change ungodly habits, break strongholds, and walk in freedom from the sins which so easily beset them. To point Christians to the Bible and other biblical resources relevant to meeting their emotional, spiritual, relational and practical needs. To bring people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of their lives.

About Us.

Spotswood Biblical Counseling Center (SBCC) is a ministry of Spotswood Baptist Church. We exist to provide Biblical counsel and guidance through life’s storms for those seeking God’s direction for their lives. In today’s complex world, God’s practical counsel is desperately needed. There is tremendous hope in the fact that God has provided His Word, the Bible, to give answers for life’s problems.

Counseling is available to help with any problems you may be facing—marriage, parenting, addictions, fear, anger, grief, anxiety, stress, depression, life purpose, etc.

We also offer Pre-Marital counseling using the Prepare and Enrich Curriculum.

There is no fee for our services but we ask for a suggested donation to Spotswood Baptist Church of $30.00 per session.

SBCC offers counseling for individuals and couples to our church and community.

Your counselor will expect at least three things from you:
First, that you will be willing to grow and change.
Second, that you will attend counseling sessions regularly unless providentially hindered.
Third, that you will complete homework assignments between counseling sessions to implement and ensure lasting change.
