At Spotswood, we believe the Gospel moves us toward compassion and action. One of the key ways we live this out is by serving the people and needs of our city.
LoveFXBG is our core outreach initiative — it exists to inspire our people and mobilize them toward a lifestyle of serving. As a church, we’re here for FXBG and we want our city to know that and feel the love we have for them. Nothing would thrill us more than to see FXBG change because of the generosity and love of our people.
We have partnerships all over our city — all kinds of organizations you can serve with to make a difference!

Partner Schools:
Join us in bringing the hope of the gospel to children in our community through Good News Club! Each week during the school year, volunteers share Bible stories, songs, and truth that point kids to Jesus in a fun and engaging way. Whether you love teaching, leading songs, helping with activities, or simply being a friendly face, there’s a place for you to serve. Together, we can plant seeds of faith that last a lifetime.
Be the hands and feet of Jesus by serving with Micah Ecumenical Ministries. This local partnership provides care and support for our neighbors experiencing homelessness through meals, shelter, and pathways to stability. Whether you can prepare food, offer hospitality, or simply listen with compassion, your presence can make a lasting impact. Together, we can share Christ’s love in tangible ways with those who need it most.
At the Spotswood Love Pantry, we serve our community by providing food, counsel, and warm smiles. We can always use another set of hands with this invaluable ministry to so many families in our area. We are currently located in M12 (Mobile Unit).

IMGN Life is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to nurture and grow a community that values life. IMGN Life directly supports the life-saving medical efforts of our local pregnancy center, which provides medical services to abortion-vulnerable clients, as well as counseling services, fatherhood mentorship, and parenting classes. IMGN Life also supports local churches in their efforts to serve those harmed by the trauma of abortion and equips our region with tools to further the cause of life in our community. Most importantly, IMGN Life is rooted in the gospel of Jesus Christ, and endeavors to share His loving-kindness with everyone who walks through the doors.
The Brisben Center is the greater community’s largest full-service, year-round, residential emergency homeless center. It provides a safe and secure, staffed 24-hour temporary residence for the homeless 365 days a year. It can simultaneously serve up to 80 homeless women, children, and men with a wide range of services. The Center is a critical port in the storm for those experiencing homelessness in our community, including many veterans. At Brisben, hundreds of volunteers and supporters from our greater community serve the region’s homeless each year.

At the Fredericksburg Christian Health Center, the love of Christ is shown through providing high-quality healthcare to the poor, broken, and outcast. Their desire is not to push patients through a broken healthcare system but to partner with them to seek God’s healing, make lifestyle changes, and choose evidence-based interventions for preventing and treating illness or injury.
