DEACONS

The role

Our Deacons serve faithfully to meet the material and practical needs of our church, following the lead of the first Deacons in Acts 6:1-6, and allowing our pastoral team to focus on the spiritual needs of the church.

Qualifications for Deacon can be found in Acts 6, 1 Timothy 3, and elsewhere. Click the application below to view our full list.

Key Verse

"…whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave— just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." - Matthew 20:26-28
