LoveFXBG exists to inspire our people and mobilize them toward a lifestyle of serving. As a church, we’re here for FXBG and we want our city to know that and feel the love we have for them. Nothing would thrill us more than to see FXBG change because of the generosity and love of our people.

We have partnerships all over our city – all kinds of organizations
you can serve with to make a difference!

Community Partnerships

Choices Women's Center

Since 2012, Choices Women’s Center of Fredericksburg has served thousands
of women and men in this community. It’s our goal to provide compassionate care,
objective information and practical resources on your pregnancy options
so that you can make a confident, fully informed decision.

The Brisben Center

The Brisben Center is the areas largest homeless shelter housing single men, women, children, and families. Not only are they an emergency shelter, but also offer transformative services to help residents in their journey back into permanent housing.

Zoe Freedom Center

Zoe Means “Life” in the Greek Language. Not just “life” as we think of it (living or being alive), but the word ZOE means eternal life, never-ending life, God’s life. Zoe exists as an addiction services center and serves our city by helping people to renew their minds in Christ, build healthy relationships, develop dreams, and serve others.

SPOTSWOOD

In past years, LoveFXBG (formerly Kairos) has been an event for Fredericksburg families by providing

them with clothing and supplies for school-aged children. This year, LoveFXBG

will serve Fredericksburg schools year-round in on-campus school events,

providing volunteer support, and donating school supplies.

We are #forourschools and #ForFXBG.

Good News Clubs.

One of our favorite outreaches to our city is Good News Clubs.

We could not be more excited to bring them back in February 2022.

These are after- school Bible Clubs that meet at our local elementary schools.

We want to launch strong and need a team of passionate volunteers who want to be part of reaching children across Fredericksburg with the Gospel of Jesus!

Other opportunities to serve.

If you want to make an impact for good in our city, here are some great organizations to link up with!

Serve with Micah Ministries.

Micah Ministries needs help delivering furniture to those moving into a permanent house – either off the street, or out of temporary shelter.

Different churches in our city are serving each Saturday of the month.  They have asked if Spotswood could take on the 4th Saturday from 8a-12 or 1p.

You will meet at Habitat ReStore, their partner organization.  You will load furniture and then start delivering and unloading.  Sometimes this task involves picking up donated furniture from homes around our community and bringing it back to the Habitat ReStore.

Each month they are looking for:
• 8 people
• 4 pickup trucks (trailers are even better)
• a few people to go in each truck.

This is an ideal father/son or Connect Group project!
