Susan has been serving at Spotswood since July 2002. She and her husband, Charlie have been members of Spotswood since 2000.
   
Susan has two children Joshua (her treasure in heaven) and Staci (her treasure on earth.) In her free time she enjoys practicing with the Total Praise Band, reading, crafts, sewing and painting.
   
Testimony: I grew up attending church but never remembered hearing that Jesus Christ died on the cross for me! Of course, with a hearing impairment that is not surprising! But it wasn't until I went completely deaf, as an adult, that I finally understood the message of salvation, not through my ears, but through my heart.
   
"Who gave man his mouth? Who makes him deaf or mute? Who gives him sight or makes him blind? Is it not I, the Lord? Now go; I will help you." Exodus 4:11-12 (NIV). It is my desire to go where God leads, to use my brokenness for His glory. "Teach me your way, O Lord, and I will walk in Your truth; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear Your name. Give me a sign of Your goodness, that my enemies may see it and be put to shame, for You, O Lord, have helped me and comforted me" Psalm 86:11, 17 (NIV). And the Lord has put a sign in my hands to sing His praises; that I may use this gift to bring others into His presence through praise and worship.
