 AWANA
is an international, Bible-centered children's and youth ministry. The
acronym AWANA comes from "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed." (2 Timothy
2:15)

Welcome to our Wednesday Night Summer program. We offer a variety of
classes for children who have completed kindergarten through sixth
grade.
There are two 4-week sessions. Children are asked to
pre-enroll and choose the classes that interest them the most. The
program runs from 6:45 to 8:00 PM.
Most classes are taught by members of our church who
are either professionals or hobbyists in the subject matter.
It's a great time for kids to explore
interests
without the demands of homework.

 Upward Basketball is an evangelistic sports ministry designed to promote community outreach, develop volunteer leadership and share the love of Christ with children and their families, using something as simple as a basketball.

The children's
choir are designed with the intent of teaching children how they can
learn about God through music. Our music is based on God's Word.
The children's choir share with our church family
several times during the year. Once or twice during the year they
present a children's musical.
Our goal in children's choir is to offer musical
instrctuion to children ages 4 through 6th grade that will direct them
to know God, to praise and worship Him in spirit and in truth, and to
serve Him with all their hearts, souls and strength.
Rehearsals are Wednesdays 5:45 PM-6:30 PM.
Cherub Choir -- 4 and 5 year olds
Truth and Light -- grades 1-5
Spirit and Truth -- grades 6-8 |

Sunday School is Bible learning time for children. It is
divided by age groups with each grade level having its own
class.
The children's Sunday School of Spotswood is
dedicated to
reaching boys and girls and to provide learning opportunities that will
help each child know God and understand His plan for their lives.
Teachers use techniques that lead each child through
Biblical truths and facts by participating in various activities. We
help you strengthen your child's life for today's challenges and lay
foundations for spiritual growth in the future.
Objectives in Sunday School for children are:
Christian
conversion, church membership, Christian worship, Christian attitudes
and convictions, Christian living, Christian knowledge and
understanding and Christian service
The children's department offers Sunday School
classes at 8:15, 9:25 and 11:00 AM. You are free to
choose the hour that suits. |

 DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K) is a special group to help your children heal from the pain caused by a separation or divorce. DC4K provides your children with a safe and neutral place to recognize and learn to share their feelings.
For 13 weeks your children become involved in a fun, caring group. The weekly session topics help learn that God’s love strengthens them and helps them turn their sadness to hope and their anger to joy. This program is designed to run concurrently with the adult DivorceCare program and is intended for children five through twelve years of age. Click the Title to find out more! |
