Our Preschool Division includes boys and girls from birth to
kindergarten.
These are impressionable years for it is during this
time that children form their attitudes, habits and concepts of life
and the world.
At Spotswood preschoolers are provided good learning
experiences designed to help in the total development of the child.
The Preschool Ministry Team at Spotswood Baptist Church loves
children!
We consider it a privilege from God to share biblical instruction and
love with your child. We view ourselves as partners with you and want
to do anything we can to make this stage in your family's life
enjoyable and rewarding.
These are critical years as you lay the foundation
for your child's future. We want to help you learn how Christian
parents raise their children in the ways of Jesus Christ. It is our
prayer that, like Jesus, your preschooler will grow in wisdom and
stature and in favor with God and man.

 Your newborns are precious gifts from God and we consider it an
honor to be entrusted with instilling a love for God in these young
lives.
The Newborn ministry at Spotswood provides care for babies up to six
months of age.

 Extended Teaching
Care is the ministry of care and teaching for preschoolers, children
birth through kindergarten, during worship services. The PURPOSE is to
extend the same teaching and guidance offered in Sunday School.
It is NOT babysitting.
It is a teaching and learning session with planned
activities. Those who serve in ETC are expected to make the most of the
time available to guide the preschooler through Bible learning
activities provided for them.
Each age level will have different methods and age
appropriate activities but each activity helps the children become
increasingly aware of concepts such as God, Jesus, Church, Bible, Self,
Family, Others and the Natural World. |
Parent dedication gives the opportunity for parents to stand in front
of the congregation and commit themselves publicly to raising their
children in a manner pleasing to God.
We offer these dedications 4 times during the year.
